The history of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum began over 270 years ago in a unique, mystical place known as the Nassau Valley. This area is characterised by a rare karst landscape featuring cone-shaped limestone formations, caves and underground springs. This distinctive terrain acts as a natural filter for the rain, producing crystal-clear water and giving the sugar cane plants in this valley region a unique flavour profile.

Appleton Estate is deeply rooted in Jamaican tradition, with the distinctive spirit of the people not only shaping the rum but, above all, defining the company’s identity. For this reason, the Appleton Estate logo consists of a combination of five iconic Jamaican symbols that tell a story of passion, dedication and a zest for life.



Appleton Reserve Blend is distilled from molasse and matured for at least 8 years in selected oak casks. The sugarcane used in its production is grown by the distillery itself.
