Description
Sibona La Grappa di MOSCATO is a single-varietal grappa from Piedmont, with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, available in a 0.5-litre bottle. Its official designation is Grappa Piemontese di Moscato. The long-established Distilleria Sibona uses selected Moscato pomace from freshly harvested grapes as its raw material, which is carefully selected during the grape harvest. Distillation takes place entirely on the premises in copper stills under the supervision of Sibona’s experienced oenologists and master distillers. After distillation, this grappa is first aged for an extended period in stainless steel tanks and then matured in oak barrels, allowing its balanced and varietal character to develop further.
Distilleria Sibona is based in Piobesi d’Alba in Piedmont and, with its single-varietal grappas, is specifically dedicated to the characteristic grape varieties of this renowned wine-growing region. With the Sibona Moscato Grappa, the aromatic Moscato grape is clearly the star of the show. This grappa is bottled in Sibona’s signature graduated 0.5-litre bottle, featuring a level indicator on the side and a practical pourer. The combination of fresh Moscato pomace, in-house distillation, ageing in stainless steel and subsequent oak barrel maturation makes this bottling a classic example of the Piedmontese grappa tradition.
