The Berta Grappa Elisi per L'Ambiente Grappa Invecchiata 43% vol. 0.5 l + GB is an elegant Grappa Invecchiata from Italy, which combines the time-honoured art of distillation practised by the renowned Berta distillery with a special sustainability project. The Berta family is one of Piedmont’s most respected grappa producers and has, for generations, been synonymous with high-quality Italian grappa specialities, produced with great care and artisanal precision. The Elisi per l’Ambiente edition forms part of an ambitious environmental project by the distillery, dedicated to the Berta Forest reforestation programme in Kenya. In collaboration with the organisation Treedom, every bottle sold helps to plant new trees and support long-term sustainable environmental projects.


The Berta Elisi per l’Ambiente grappa is produced using the traditional batch distillation method in steam-heated copper stills. This matured grappa from Piedmont is then aged for around three years in wooden casks, during which time it develops its harmonious structure and subtle cask notes. This ageing process gives the Grappa Invecchiata a well-rounded balance of fruit, mild spice and elegant woody notes. With an alcohol content of 43 per cent, this premium grappa from Berta is smooth, complex and particularly harmonious.
