MacNair’s Lum Reek 12 Years Old Peated is a masterfully crafted blended malt whisky that combines the powerful smokiness of Islay with the elegant fruitiness of Speyside. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill-filtered, this peated whisky offers a deep, complex flavour profile that will delight both lovers of smoke and fans of multi-layered sherry cask notes.

Produced by GlenAllachie Distillers, under the guidance of renowned Master Blender Billy Walker, this whisky brings together carefully selected peated and unpeated single malts from Scotland, all of which have been matured for at least 12 years. The casks consist of first-fill bourbon, Pedro Ximénez sherry and red wine casks, which lend the whisky impressive depth, balance and smoky elegance.

The name ‘Lum Reek’ derives from an old Scottish saying, ‘Lang may yer lum reek’, which roughly translates as ‘May your chimney smoke for a long time’ – a symbol of warmth, hospitality and the good life.
