Cognac Ferrand Légendaire Grande Champagne Cognac is Maison Ferrand’s most prestigious bottling and an exceptional Grande Champagne Cognac with an alcohol content of 42.1 per cent, presented in a 0.7-litre bottle within an elegant wooden box. This strictly limited edition brings together the oldest and most valuable eaux-de-vie from the historic Chais Paradis, Maison Ferrand’s ageing cellar. All the distillates originate exclusively from the Grande Champagne region, the Premier Cru de Cognac. Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel composed this exclusive cuvée and finished it in a Zebra Cask, whose special construction lends it additional depth and elegance. Only 500 bottles are produced from each Zebra Cask, making Cognac Ferrand Légendaire one of the house’s most exclusive bottlings.

The exceptional ageing period of the eaux-de-vie used gives the Cognac Ferrand Légendaire Grande Champagne Cognac an impressive aromatic depth. The classic rancio develops alongside notes of dark chocolate, plums, sandalwood and tobacco to create a multi-layered overall profile. As the flavour unfolds, dried roses, jasmine, saffron and passion fruit complement the elegant bouquet, whilst on the palate, creamy notes of buttered caramel, almonds, vanilla and honey blend with subtle spices. The exceptionally long finish is characterised by mandarin, blackberries, cocoa, incense and noble woody notes. The cognac is bottled in a hand-blown crystal decanter from the renowned French crystal manufacturer Waltersperger, which was designed specifically for this prestige bottling and further emphasises its exclusive collector’s status.
