Writer's Tears, triple-distilled using traditional Irish methods and matured in bourbon oak casks, pays tribute to the Irish whisky style of the last century and to Ireland’s famous writers and poets. This whisky celebrates the creative inspiration that greats such as George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett drew from Irish whisky, particularly during creative dry spells. This is also where the name comes from: Writer's Tears – a symbol of the emotional highs and lows of the writing process.

Writer's Tears Red Head, an exclusive variant of this whisky, is a triple-distilled single malt that is finished in carefully selected Spanish sherry casks. It is bottled without chill filtration to preserve the rich aromas and depth of flavour.
