Since its foundation in 1887 by Homére Clément on the picturesque island of Martinique, Clément Rhum has stood for innovation and excellence in the world of rum. Clément Rhum has revolutionised the art of rum production, particularly with the introduction of Rhum Agricole, a type of rum distilled from freshly pressed sugar cane juice, which enjoyed unprecedented success during the Caribbean sugar crisis.

The series is characterised by meticulous ageing in six cellars, where nearly 11,600 casks are overseen by Julien Thimon, the cellar master since 2021. His expertise and dedication are the result of 18 years’ experience working alongside his predecessor, Robert Peronet.

This special bottling from the PRIVATE CASK range is first matured for four years in American oak casks and then undergoes a further 10 months of maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks. This process lends the rum a rich complexity and deep, aromatic nuances, ranging from sweet and fruity notes to subtle, woody undertones.
