Nikka BLACK Deep Blend is a robust Japanese blended whisky from Nikka Whisky, one of Japan’s leading and most renowned whisky producers. The ‘BLACK’ range is one of the company’s most popular ranges and is particularly widespread in Japan itself. The Deep Blend variant stands out clearly from other bottlings thanks to its intensive cask maturation and the balanced combination of peated malts and sweet grain whisky.

The blend is based on carefully selected whiskies from Nikka’s two distilleries, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, which are known respectively for their powerful, smoky (Yoichi) and elegant, fruity (Miyagikyo) notes. With an alcohol content of 45 % vol., the Deep Blend is significantly stronger than many standard bottlings, yet remains smooth, rounded and pleasantly approachable. Maturation in charred oak casks imparts depth, toasty notes and subtle vanilla aromas.
