The village of Abergwyngregyn, home to the Aber Falls distillery, is picturesquely situated at the foot of the famous Aber Falls waterfall. Each year this idyllic place, better known by its historic name Aber Garth Celyn, attracts over 50,000 visitors and is easily accessible, just off the A55 and a short distance from the coast.

The village originally housed a slate factory over the centuries, a margarine factory during the World Wars and latterly a depot for drinks wholesalers. The lovingly restored and renovated building now serves as an ideal production facility for spirits that reflect the passion and skill of the craft.

Aber Falls Single Malt Welsh Whisky is made from 100% Welsh malted barley and rock-filtered water from the Aber Falls waterfall. Storage takes place in a traditional perennial warehouse on the Menai Straits, while distillation utilises a mixture of copper and stainless steel stills. The whisky is matured in Oloroso sherry, PX sherry, bourbon and virgin oak casks, which contributes to its rich and full-bodied flavour.
