Xibal Gin is produced using an artisanal distillation process in copper stills. Specific botanicals are used in its production, all of which have their roots in Mesoamerican history, to emphasise the cultural links to its Guatemalan origins and pre-Columbian Maya culture.

The selected botanicals include bay leaf, lemon, black pepper, orange, St John’s wort and cardamom.

This approach aims to forge a link between ancient Maya culture and modern Guatemalan culture.

Thus, Xibal Gin is not only a spirit that stands out for its careful selection of botanicals and traditional distillation process, but also a cultural legacy that embodies the rich history and tradition of Guatemala and the Mayacivilisation, skilfully weaving it together with modern influences.
