Old Overholt Straight Rye Whisky is a true American whisky icon with over 200 years of history. The recipe is based on a high proportion of rye, which gives the whisky its characteristic, spicy note. It is matured for at least three years in charred American white oak casks, allowing it to absorb additional vanilla and woody aromas. With a higher alcohol content of 43 % vol. in this 1-litre bottle, Old Overholt offers more body and character than the classic 40 % version, whilst remaining pleasantly approachable and well-balanced.
