Pasote Reposado Tequila is a premium 100 per cent agave tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco, produced using traditional methods and selected raw materials. The base is made from ripe Blue Weber agaves grown on the estate’s own land, which are first cooked evenly for two days and then crushed using a roller mill. Fermentation takes place in open stainless-steel tanks using a specially formulated blend of cultivated local yeasts. The tequila is then double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills, using water from the distillery’s own well, which is naturally filtered through volcanic rock. No glycerine, artificial flavourings or other additives are used.


After distillation, the Pasote Reposado is aged for at least four months in American oak casks, allowing the original agave character to blend with the influences of the wood. Production in the Jalisco Highlands, the use of 100 per cent Blue Weber agave and ageing in American oak barrels are the key characteristics of this artisanally produced Reposado tequila. The design of the 0.7-litre bottle, with an alcohol content of 40 per cent by volume, also draws on Mexican history: the striking label depicts an Aztec jaguar warrior, thus referencing the inspiration behind the name – the warriors of Aztec culture, who were regarded as particularly brave and determined. In this way, Pasote combines traditional symbolism with a precisely defined tequila-making process.
