Made from 100% Tobalá agave, considered one of the finest and rarest varieties of agave for mezcal, this exclusive mezcal combines an intense flavour with exceptional craftsmanship. The agaves grow exclusively at high altitudes and require at least 12 years to reach full maturity before being processed using a labour-intensive method.

Behind Lokita is the maestro mezcalero Arturo Mártinez, who produces this mezcal using traditional methods. The agave hearts are slowly roasted in earthen pits to develop their characteristic smoky aroma, before being crushed by hand and fermented in natural fermentation vats. Distillation takes place in small copper stills, which preserves the delicate, complex aromas.
