The Kracher Winery is situated in the ‘Seewinkel’ region of Burgenland, Austria. Thanks to the warm, humid climate, evaporation from the lake and the evening mists, ideal conditions are created here for Botrytis cinerea, which forms the basis for outstanding sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen and Trockenbeerenauslesen. Gerhard Kracher continues to run the winery with the same dedication. In addition to its famous Trockenbeerenauslesen, the winery also produces Beerenauslesen, Auslesen, Eiswein and small quantities of dry white and red wine, and is regarded as one of Austria’s best-known wineries.

Kracher Trockenbeerenauslese Traminer Nouvelle Vague, made from 100% Traminer grapes, is aged in new barriques. This ageing process lends the wine its complex aromas and characteristic depth. After the ageing phase, the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
