In the 0.75 l bottle, the cuvée consists of 50 per cent Pinot Noir, 30 per cent Chardonnay and 20 per cent Meunier. The high proportion of Pinot Noir forms the structural backbone of the champagne, whilst Meunier provides roundness and Chardonnay brings elegance and finesse. To preserve the characteristic style of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut across different vintages, up to 45 per cent reserve wines may be included in the blend. To this end, the House boasts an exceptionally extensive collection of around 400 reserve wines, some of which have been aged for up to 30 years.
