This edition of the Wonders of Wood series stands out thanks to its exceptional cask maturation: the whiskey is matured entirely in new Portuguese oak casks, which lend it an intense spiciness and a complex array of flavours.

Produced from a traditional single pot still mash bill – a blend of malted and unmalted barley – this Irish whiskey is distilled using classic methods in copper stills and bottled at 50% ABV. This second edition of the Wonders of Wood series underlines Teeling’s commitment to innovation by exploring the influence of rare wood types on Irish whiskey. Portuguese oak is renowned for its high tannin content and aromatic intensity, which lend this whiskey an impressive depth. The whisky is bottled without chill filtration.
