The Dingle Distillery is situated in the picturesque coastal town of Dingle on the Dingle Peninsula in the south-west of Ireland. The distillery was founded in 2012 by three visionary entrepreneurs – Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley – who are part of the ‘Irish Whiskey Renaissance’ movement. The distillery is one of the first independent distilleries to be established in Ireland in centuries and specialises in the production of handcrafted premium whiskies.

Dingle SAMHAIN Single Malt Irish Whiskey Triple Distilled is part of the ‘Wheel of the Year’ series, which is dedicated to the eight traditional festivals of the Celtic calendar. Samhain, the festival of fire, has marked the beginning of the Celtic calendar for over 2,000 years and symbolises the transition from summer to the darker season. This whisky is triple-distilled under the supervision of Master Distiller Graham Coull and is initially matured for five years in selected bourbon casks. It is then given a special finish in Muscatel casks from Fernando de Castilla, which lends it additional depth and complexity.

This is a strictly limited edition of just 10,000 bottles, which are neither coloured nor chill-filtered.
