Benriach is always on the lookout for a diverse selection of casks from all over the world, chosen for their exceptional character and flavour profiles, which are then imparted to the whisky. The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple-distilled.

The distillery is renowned for its long-standing tradition and, at the end of 2019, is launching a new range that further highlights the diversity and versatility of Benriach’s ‘orchard-fruit style’, thus covering the entire spectrum of whisky flavour.

The colour palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural surroundings of Speyside.

Benriach The Sixteen is crafted using spirits that have been matured for at least 16 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry and oak casks. The whisky is then expertly blended to create a smooth, sherry-rich single malt, coated with stone fruit, creamy malt and honey, which harmonises perfectly with lingering sultanas and a spiced oak finish.
