The careful maturation of this rum combines column still and pot still distillation methods. The process begins in bourbon casks, where the rum matures for one year and reaches an ester content of 42 g/hL. It then spends four years in FERRAND casks before enjoying a further, final five-year finish in Arran casks. In 2023, this exceptional rum was bottled with no added sugar (0 g/L dosage).
