The history of the family-run business Beniamino Maschio began in the mid-19th century in San Pietro di Feletto, Italy. Antonio Maschio set up a small distillery, and so began the family’s great adventure in the world of grappa.

In 2002, Beniamino Maschio took over the Distilleria dell’Alpe with the aim of developing a range of liqueurs and gins typical of the Venetian tradition.

Kapriol Lemon & Bergamot is based on the original recipe for Kapriol Dry Gin. For Kapriol Dry Gin, juniper berries are left to steep at room temperature for fifteen days before the first distillation takes place in copper stills dating from the Second World War. Finally, the gin is refined with lemons and bergamots.
