The V8+ SANDRO Prosecco Extra Dry DOC 11 % is a fresh and approachable Italian Prosecco from Veneto, made from 100 per cent Glera grapes. The vines grow on moderately deep, alkaline silt-loam soils, which are characteristic of the Venetian plain and rest on an ancient soil layer known as Caranto. The temperate, humid climate is characterised by the proximity to the sea and the alternation between the cool Bora and the warm, humid Scirocco. After harvesting, the grapes are gently processed using pneumatic presses and the must is quickly separated from the skins. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15–16 °C.


To achieve its fine perlage, the V8+ SANDRO Prosecco DOC then undergoes a second fermentation in stainless-steel autoclaves using the Martinotti method. This process helps to preserve the fresh and fruit-forward character typical of Glera. In the 0.75 l bottle, the Prosecco Extra Dry presents itself as an unpretentious sparkling wine with a lively mouthfeel, designed especially for aperitifs and social occasions. The combination of 100 per cent Glera, controlled fermentation and the classic Martinotti method makes the SANDRO a quintessential example of Prosecco DOC from Veneto.
