At first glance, it isn’t entirely clear what Tecán is or means, as the word was coined by the producers. Tecán is a combination of tequila and Bacán. The first word speaks for itself; the second word, ‘Bacán’, is used in some Latin American countries to describe a pleasant and charming person – someone who exudes self-confidence and enjoys life. Everyone knows a ‘Bacán’ type and may even be one themselves.

This tequila is a blend of highland and lowland agaves, sourced exclusively from the fertile soils of Jalisco, Mexico. The blue Weber agaves undergo a 50-hour fermentation process, allowing the flavours to develop fully. After fermentation, the tequila is aged for eight months in American white oak casks.

The interplay of highland and lowland agaves, combined with the influence of the oak, creates a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
