Master Distiller Billy Walker spends countless hours in the warehouses at the GlenAllachie Distillery, where he carefully inspects some 50,000 casks. This task requires not only perseverance but also a keen instinct – yet his efforts are rewarded with exceptional results.

The GlenAllachie Distillery deliberately bucks the trend towards corporate mergers and consolidation and, as an independent Scottish company, remains true to its core values: the creation of outstanding whiskies and a zest for life.

The GlenAllachie Wine Cuvée Cask Finish is a perfect example of this philosophy. The blend consists of whiskies matured for at least 10 years, which were initially stored in ex-bourbon casks before being blended together. For the finish, Billy Walker carefully selects wine casks that lend the whisky a harmonious depth and added complexity.
