Description
Cihuatán Suerte is a limited-edition rum from Licorera Cihuatán, which has been presenting unique flavour profiles since 2018. In 2023, the rum distillery from El Salvador is launching Cihuatán Suerte.
The inspiration for this rum stems from the Mayan tradition of filtering water through quartz crystals. Master Blender Gabriela Ayala decided to filter the rums from her own distillery in a similar way to create Cihuatán Suerte.
The Cihuatán Suerte Rum El Salvador Limited Edition 2023 has been aged for between 15 and 17 years and consists of a blend of light and heavy rums that have been stored in new American white oak casks.
This ageing process gives the rum a harmonious balance of spicy, sweet and fruity flavours.
