Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to thrive. After farming their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now housed in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse situated in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano and surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

The Bottega Negroni is a classic Italian cocktail whose origins date back to Café Casoni in 1919. At the time, Count Negroni ordered an Americano, but with gin instead of soda to make the drink stronger – and so the legendary Negroni was born. This cocktail is mixed using equal parts Bottega Vermouth Rosso, Bottega Bitter and Bottega Dry Gin, which gives it its distinctive, balanced flavour.

The Bottega Negroni has since become a globally acclaimed cocktail, proving particularly popular amongst lovers of classic mixed drinks.
