Fratello is an exquisite hazelnut liqueur made from 100 per cent hazelnuts from Piedmont, in north-western Italy. Only the finest ‘Tonda Gentile del Piemonte’ hazelnuts from the region are used for this liqueur, as they become larger, plumper and sweeter when roasted. Fratello hazelnut liqueur is produced at the Francoli grappa distillery in Piedmont, Italy – the very place where the hazelnuts for this first-class liqueur are grown. The Francoli distillery was founded in 1895 by the siblings Gabriele, Barolomeo and Guglielmo Francoli and is now in its fifth generation of family ownership.
