Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 4 is the fourth edition in the powerful Cask Strength series from the historic Highland Park distillery, situated on the Orkney Islands north of the Scottish mainland. This bottling has been released at an impressive 64.3 % ABV at natural cask strength – without chill filtration or colouring – and is aimed at discerning whisky connoisseurs seeking an authentic and intense tasting experience.

For this release, the whisky was matured predominantly in first-fill bourbon casks, sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, and a small selection of refill casks. The result is a complex single malt with the balance of honeyed sweetness, peaty spice and gentle smoke typical of Highland Park, complemented by creamy vanilla, dark fruits and oak. The Orkneys’ northern origins and maritime climate lend the whisky an additional salty depth and characteristic minerality.
