The history of the Orendain family began in 1926, when Don Eduardo Orendain González founded the ‘La Mexicana’ distillery. Over the years, this distillery has gained renown and prestige thanks to its unwavering dedication to producing tequila of the highest quality. The secret of their success lies in their deep love for the industry, combined with knowledge passed down through the generations regarding the production of first-class tequila.

The tequila is carefully triple-distilled and is characterised by its unmistakable aroma of vanilla wood. It is aged for at least six months in small oak casks sourced from America.

This traditional ageing process has remained virtually unchanged over the years to preserve the tried-and-tested original recipe.
