The Compass Box Vellichor Blended Malt, with an alcohol content of 44.6% vol., is an exquisite and complex whisky that showcases a masterful blend of various high-quality malt whiskies and a careful selection of casks.

Compass Box has created this blended malt from a blend of whiskies from various distilleries and regions, offering unique depth and a diversity of flavours. The blend comprises 12.1% Macallan single malt, 38.9% Highland Park single malt, 15.6% Blended Scotch Parcel, 29.3% Blended Malt Parcel and 4.1% Caol Ila single malt.

The whisky is matured in a fascinating selection of casks, including first-fill bourbon barrels, recharred hogsheads, refill sherry butts and refill hogsheads. These casks lend the Vellichor an incredible complexity, characterised by aromas of warm spices, fruity notes and a subtle oakiness. The whisky absorbs the best qualities of each cask type to deliver a harmonious yet multi-layered tasting experience.
