This fine rum is produced from molasses, extracted from sugar cane, in a continuous distillation process using a column still. A distinctive feature of Kawama Rum Extra Anejo is its composition as a blend, which combines distillates aged for varying lengths of time, with some batches aged for up to 13 years in American white oak casks in a tropical climate.

Bottled without any added sugar, Kawama Rum 13 Extra Anejo is characterised by a comparatively low alcohol content and an elegant presentation.
