This distinctive whisky was matured exclusively in American virgin oak casks, which impart subtle vanilla notes and a tannic spiciness.

Crystal Malt, produced by crystallising sugar in a closed system during the malting process, is common in the brewing industry but rarely used in the distilling sector.
