Every bottle of Camarena embodies a history stretching back over 250 years, dating back to 1761 in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico.

This town lies at the heart of artisanal tequila production and is renowned for its centuries-old tradition.

To this day, there is a historic bell there, traditionally used to announce festivities and bring the local community together. The significance of this bell and its role in the cultural and social life of the community served as inspiration for the design of the Camarena bottle, meaning that every bottle contains not only tequila, but also a piece of Mexican cultural history and community spirit.

At the heart of every bottle are the legendary wolves of Jalisco, who were once regarded as guardians of the agave fields and the inhabitants of Arandas.

These wolves, feared and revered for their cunning and ferocity, symbolise a deep bond and mutual respect between nature and humankind.
