Big Peat is a carefully curated blend of single malt Scotch whiskies sourced exclusively from the renowned whisky region of Islay. As part of Douglas Laing’s Remarkable Regional Malts collection, Big Peat represents the essence of the Islay region in concentrated form. With a phenol content of 40 ppm, it offers an intense peaty experience. The whisky is free from colouring and chill filtration and is bottled at natural cask strength, which underlines its authenticity and natural character, in keeping with Douglas Laing’s motto: ‘As natural as possible’.
