The Lackner Tinnacher Winery is a family-run business that has been producing wine since 1770. The vines grow in six different Lager in the beautiful region of Styria. Wilma and Fritz Tinnacher have been running the winery for 30 years; in 2013, it was taken over by their daughter, Katharina Tinnacher.

The high quality of the wines is down to generations of experience.

Lackner Tinnacher Welschriesling is produced exclusively from carefully hand-picked, fully ripe Welschriesling grapes. Following the hand harvest, the whole grapes were gently pressed, with the juice flowing by gravity into the wine cellar. There, spontaneous fermentation began in steel tanks, after which the Welschriesling matured in the cellar for five months. A natural malolactic fermentation following the main fermentation gives the Welschriesling its distinctive balance and harmony. After the ageing phase, it is bottled and sealed with a natural cork. This Lackner Tinnacher Welschriesling is characterised by a ageing potential extending until 2027.
