Belizean Blue Rum – Signature Blend is a product of the Travellers Distillery, located in Belize, Central America. The distillery’s origins can be traced back to a bar in Belize City known as Travellers. The bar’s founder, Don Omario, began producing his own rum blends, which he sold in his bar.

Owing to the great success of these blends, Don Omario eventually founded Travellers Liquors Ltd. The distillery places great emphasis on using locally grown, fairly produced sugar cane. The molasses extracted from this sugarcane is key to the rum’s authentic flavour, which is characteristic of this region. The rums in the Signature Blend are aged for up to seven years and bottled without the addition of sugar or colourings.

This premium rum is dedicated to the Belizean Blue, a butterfly native to the jungles of Belize. Known for its bright blue Flügel and a wingspan of up to 12 cm, this butterfly is one of the largest of its kind in the world.
