Description
Description
MICHAEL Pinot Blanc Ried Rosenberger Selection Vulkanland Styria DAC 2022 is an expressive and refined white wine, made exclusively from 100 per cent fully ripe Pinot Blanc grapes. These grapes come from the renowned Ried Rosenberg, a vineyard site known for its mineral-rich soils and optimal sun exposure. The hand-harvest on 28 September 2022 ensures a precise selection of the finest grapes, which are then gently processed.
Following the harvest, fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel tanks with fine lees ageing, which imparts additional creaminess, depth and an elegant structure to the wine. This fine lees ageing ensures a harmonious balance between fruit, acidity and minerality, and highlights the complexity of this Pinot Blanc. After an appropriate ageing period, the wine is bottled and securely sealed with a screw cap to optimally preserve its freshness and aromas. With an ageing potential of 2–3 years, it can be enjoyed young or allowed to develop its full character with a little ageing.
Awards:
