Description
Description
MICHAEL Cabernet Blanc PIWI is a remarkable white wine that impressively demonstrates the innovative spirit and commitment to quality of the Weingut Michael Rosenberger winery. The Cabernet Blanc grape variety belongs to the PIWI group (fungus-resistant grape varieties), which, thanks to their natural resistance to fungal diseases, enable environmentally friendly viticulture. This enables the winery to significantly reduce its use of plant protection products, thereby making an important contribution to sustainability.
This wine is made from 100% Cabernet Blanc grapes, which thrive on the mineral-rich soils of the Styrian Vulkanland. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand to ensure only the very best grapes are used. The wine is matured in stainless-steel tanks, which allows the fruity and variety-typical aromas of the Cabernet Blanc to come to the fore. The bottles are fitted with a screw cap, which preserves the wine’s freshness and aromas. The wine is ready to drink in 2–3 years, meaning it can be enjoyed young but is also allowed to mature a little further.
With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., the wine is light and refreshing without losing any of its depth.
