The 2021 reissue of Trinidad Rum was characterised by a slightly bitter aftertaste due to unexpected alcohol losses during the ageing process.

Trinidad and Tobago, known for its historical significance in the Caribbean as a land of sprinters, pirates and explorers, continues to make its understated mark in the latest edition of this rum. This rum is characterised by its restrained yet assertive character, reminiscent of whisky, underpinned by a base of chlorophyll and molasses that allows the flavours to unfold gradually.

On the palate, the rum reveals nuances of undergrowth and an antique fragrance reminiscent of the interior of Romanesque churches or the first pages of an old liturgical book. These aromas give way to a pronounced vanilla flavour.
