Clase Azul Mezcal San Luis Potosí is an exceptionally fine release within Clase Azul’s premium mezcal Linie, which is entirely dedicated to discovering and celebrating Mexican regional character and craftsmanship. This edition pays homage to the centrally located state of San Luis Potosí and is produced exclusively from the locally grown Agave Salmiana – a rarely used variety of agave known for its elegant sweetness and floral lightness.

It is produced using a slow, traditional process: the agave hearts are cooked in brick ovens, ground in stone mills, fermented in open vats and then distilled twice in copper stills. This gentle method impressively brings out the natural terroir and the delicate characteristics of the Salmiana agave. With an alcohol content of 43 % vol., this mezcal unfolds a balanced interplay of aromas, underpinned by floral, herbaceous and mineral notes – subtle, finely nuanced and of exceptional elegance.

The presentation is every bit as impressive as the contents: the ceramic bottle is meticulously handcrafted by Mexican artisans, and its colour scheme and symbolism are inspired by the cultural heritage of San Luis Potosí.
