Edradour, situated in the picturesque town of Pitlochry in the Southern Highlands, was purchased in 2002 by Andrew Symington of Signatory Vintage Ltd, who had grand visions for the distillery. Under his leadership, characterised by innovative ideas, Edradour has built up an enthusiastic and loyal following.

Since Symington took over the distillery, the brand has flourished to such an extent that, in 2018, the construction of a new, second distillery with two stills was announced to meet rising demand. As production needed to be increased, new warehouses were also built to accommodate the additional volume of whisky.

This 20-year-old Ballechin bottling is a rare and heavily peated version of Edradour, available in a limited edition. The whisky was matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. This small-batch whisky is non-chill-filtered, has a natural colour and is limited to 2016 bottles.
