The Glenmorangie Distillery, founded in 1843 in the Scottish Highlands near Tain, is famous for its exquisite single malt Scotch whiskies. These are distilled in Scotland’s tallest stills, resulting in a particularly fine and smooth spirit. Glenmorangie is renowned for its innovative cask-finishing technique, which involves maturing whiskies in various types of casks, such as port, sherry and wine casks, giving them a unique depth of flavour.

Glenmorangie is also strongly committed to sustainability, with initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions and reuse water, making the distillery a pioneer not only in the whisky industry but also in global spirits production. The distillery remains true to its tradition whilst continuously striving to minimise its environmental footprint whilst maintaining the quality of its whiskies.

The journey of Glenmorangie Nectar begins in ex-bourbon casks, before it is finished in exquisite white wine casks from France, Spain and Hungary. The Sauternes and Montbazillac casks lend it rich notes of pastry and baked apple, whilst the Moscatel casks add sweet, syrupy dessert flavours. The Tokaji casks round off the profile with nuances of white chocolate, almonds and honeycomb.

With an impressive maturation period of 16 years, which represents a bold addition to the Glenmorangie Core Collection, the Nectar achieves remarkable depth and complexity.
