Description
The history of Martell dates back to around 1700, when Jean Martell travelled to Paris to produce a cognac from the finest eaux-de-vie. Following his death in 1753, his wife Rachel Martell took up her late husband’s vision and successfully brought it to fruition. She ran the business so successfully that Martell Cognac quickly became well-known in America and England. Today, Martell Cognac is a symbol of luxurious taste and the very highest quality.
Martell VSOP is an authentic expression of the Martell style. The house maintains an uncompromising savoir-faire by ageing its eaux-de-vie exclusively in fine-grained oak casks. This distinctive feature encourages the development of refined aromas, which are reflected in the rich, fruity notes of Martell VSOP. Martell VSOP is a blend of spirits, the youngest of which has been aged for at least four years.
Elegant and harmonious, a delight for connoisseurs.
