MICHAEL Cabernet Sauvignon Burgenland is a powerful, complex red wine that owes its unique character to the Mediterranean-Pannonian climate of Central Burgenland and the meticulous winemaking process at Weingut Michael. The region’s warm summers and cool nights allow the grapes to ripen to perfection and ensure an impressive balance between fruit, spice and structure. This premium red wine is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and is an elegant, complex expression of its grape variety, impressing with its depth, finesse and exceptional ageing potential.

Following careful harvesting, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak, which imparts a fine tannin structure and subtle toasted aromas. The oak ageing lends it additional complexity and ensures a harmonious blend of fruit and spice. The wine is sealed with a natural cork to optimally support its development in the bottle. It will be at its best in at least 5 years’ time, meaning it can be enjoyed young or allowed to mature further over several years.
