Description
The Weingut Goldenits is situated in Tadten, nestled within the Heideboden grand cru. This region, to the east of Lake Neusiedl, benefits from the Pannonian climate, which offers ideal conditions for growing fully ripe grapes. As a long-established family-run business, the winery cultivates 35 hectares of vineyards. Red wine accounts for 75 per cent of the vineyard area, whilst the remaining 25 per cent is reserved for white wine.
Goldenit’s Robert Sparkling Rosé is a carefully crafted cuvée made from the Blaufränkisch and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The grapes for this elegant rosé come from vines aged between 12 and 40 years, which grow on sandy black earth soils with a medium to high stone content, as well as on gravelly soils. In October 2021, the grapes were carefully harvested by hand to ensure they were perfectly ripe. This was followed by temperature-controlled fermentation, which perfectly brings out the wine’s fresh aromas and delicate structure. Ageing in stainless steel tanks emphasises the clarity and freshness of the rosé. On 26 May 2021, the wine was finally bottled and sealed with a screw cap.
