The Weingut Goldenits is situated in Tadten, nestled within the Heideboden grand cru. This region, to the east of Lake Neusiedl, benefits from the Pannonian climate, which offers ideal conditions for growing fully ripe grapes. As a long-established family-run business, the winery cultivates 35 hectares of vineyards. Red wine accounts for 75 per cent of the vineyard area, whilst the remaining 25 per cent is reserved for white wine.

The grapes for the Goldenits Robert Welschriesling Eiswein are carefully harvested by hand and then fermented in steel tanks for 25 days to preserve their natural aromas. The vines thrive on sandy black earth, beneath which lie layers of gravel. After fermentation, the wine was also matured in stainless steel tanks to emphasise its freshness and clarity. Finally, the ice wine was bottled and sealed with a screw cap.
