Champagne Lanson Le Black Réserve Extra Brut 12.5% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is a particularly sophisticated cuvée from the long-established Champagne Lanson house and embodies a modern interpretation of the characteristic Lanson style. Freshness, precision and exceptional elegance are at the heart of this blend, which originates from the finest terroirs in Champagne. Le Black Réserve was created for connoisseurs who appreciate a champagne with depth, complexity and a particularly low dosage.


The blend consists of 50 per cent Pinot Noir, 35 per cent Chardonnay and 15 per cent Meunier, combining grapes from around 80 selected crus, including numerous Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. An exceptionally high proportion of 40 per cent reserve wines ensures additional complexity and consistency. Characteristic of the House of Lanson is the extensive avoidance of malolactic fermentation in around 75 per cent of the wines, thereby preserving their freshness and vibrancy over the long term. The cuvée is then aged for at least five years in the house’s cellars, during which time it develops its remarkable depth and harmony. With a dosage of just 5 g/l, this French champagne is particularly precise, terroir-driven and elegant.
