The Moneybag Barbera d’Alba DOC 2022 is a full-bodied red wine from Piedmont that combines the striking presence of rock legend Gene Simmons with Italian winemaking tradition. Produced in close collaboration with winegrowers from the Alba region, this Barbera brings together terroir, style and personality in one impressive bottle. The Barbera grape is one of Piedmont’s most traditional varieties and is known for its dark colour, lively fruit and balanced acidity. The 2022 vintage impresses with its rich ripeness, dense fruit and fine tannins. Ageing takes place in both stainless steel tanks and oak, which preserves the fruit aromas whilst enhancing the wine’s structure and depth. With an alcohol content of 14.5% vol., this Barbera is concentrated and assertive, yet clearly balanced.
