Developed by Armand Machater, Schilerol was born out of a desire to offer a regional and authentic alternative to conventional aperitivo spritz drinks in his wine tavern. True to the motto: why import industrial products when you live and work in the heart of a wine-growing region? For over a year, Machater experimented with various blends, letting family and friends taste them until he had perfected the recipe. The huge popularity of the drink eventually led to Schilerol becoming available beyond the wine tavern.
Made from rosé wine and refined with selected herbs, spices and syrups, Schilerol contains absolutely no artificial preservatives or additives. This natural composition and its fresh, tangy flavour clearly set Schilerol apart from industrial spritz drinks.
