Description
Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to grow. After farming their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now housed in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse situated in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano and surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.
The choice of raw materials plays a crucial role in the production of vodka, as it significantly influences the quality of the final product. For this reason, Bottega Vodka is produced by fermenting an infusion of sugar derived exclusively from pure grain. This fine raw material lends the distillate a strong and distinctive character. Equally important are the distillation techniques, which contribute significantly to the quality of the vodka.
Bottega Vodka undergoes five stages of distillation, which allow the aromatic properties of the raw material to be optimally extracted and produce a rich, complex distillate. Finally, the vodka is enriched with pure Alpine water and carefully filtered to remove any impurities that might compromise its organoleptic profile.
