Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona S.p.A. is situated in the heart of Piedmont, more specifically in Piobesi d’Alba, right in the centre of the region where some of Piedmont’s finest wines originate. It is one of the oldest and most traditional distilleries in Piedmont, which gives it a special status within Italian distilling culture.

Owing to this long tradition and its historical significance, Sibona holds the prestigious ‘Licenza di Distillazione No. 1’. This rare distilling licence is awarded by the Italian tax authorities only to distilleries that stand out for their exceptional history and consistent quality. The Sibona Distillato di Birra 2.1 Craft Beer Brandy is a high-quality brandy distilled in copper stills from craft-brewed, unfiltered Italian double-malt beer (doppio malto). It is then aged in stainless steel tanks. The beer brandy clearly bears the characteristics of the double malt beer from which it is made. The numbers 2.1 in the name stand for the double malt beer (2) and the licence number (1) of the Sibona distillery, which is renowned for its traditional craftsmanship and the highest quality.
